Juan Carlos Trujillo climbs to the top position among Spain's best computer information systems researchers in the DIH ranking The #ranking of November 2022 of the DIH group has brought with it the leadership of Juan Carlos Trujillo. Specifically, the director of Lucentia has climbed to the first position in the field of #informationsystems in the area of #computing. They update these rankings monthly and each one is based on the #H-index, the best measure of a researcher's quality. This month, Trujillo has a total of 94 publications, since 2000, with an #H-index of 21. Elena Navarro meets with the Lucentia team

The UCLM professor met with the Lucentia team to establish the lines of action for the coming months within the Balladeer project On the 16th of November, we had the visit of Elena María Navarro Martínez from Lucentia Research Group. We received Navarro to agree on different points to be carried out within the research being developed in the #Balladeer project. Elena Navarro is Professor of Computer Science at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM). In addition, she is currently an active member of the LOUISE Research Group at the UCLM. Her current research interests are requirements engineering, software architecture, model-driven development and human-computer interaction. Specifically, he has more than 20 years of experience as a teacher in software engineering, with special focus on the application of .NET technologies for the development of cloud applications. We received the visit of Giancarlo and Renata Guizzardi, renowned researchers from the University of Twente, focusing on their respective lectures on semantics and ontologies Lucentia RG team on the visit of Renata and Giancarlo Guizzardi Last week, from 17th to 21st October, we received at Lucentia Research Group the visit of researchers Giancarlo Guizzardi and Renata Guizzardi, both from the University of Twente (The Netherlands). During this visit, we were able to have a talk from each of the experts on #semantics and #ontologies. Giancarlo Guizzardi is a full professor at the Digital Society Institute of the University of Twente (The Netherlands), where he heads the department of #semantics, services and cybersecurity. Prior to that, he was full professor of computer science and director of the Cognitive and Conceptual Modelling (CORE) research group at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, South Tyrol (Italy). Lucentia participates in the Alicante Technology Forum 2022 together with the University of Alicante and the Alicante Science Park showing the progress of the Balladeer project Lucentia RG team at the Alicante Technology Forum 2022 Last November 30th and December 1st and 2nd, different members of Lucentia could be part of the stand of the University of Alicante in the Alicante Technology Forum 2022. Different members of Lucentia Research will collaborate with the Institute of Health and Biomedical Research of Alicante (ISABIAL) from July 2022 From July 2022, the researchers of the Lucentia Research Group, Juan Carlos Trujillo, Alejandro Maté and Miguel A. Teruel, will be part of the Health and Biomedical Research Institute of Alicante (ISABIAL). Specifically, they will contribute their knowledge in Biomedical Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Extended Reality to the Clinical Simulation and Innovation Research Group. ISABIAL is constituted as a biomedical, multidisciplinary and translational research space oriented towards basic, clinical, epidemiological and health services research, which will contribute to increasing the quality of biomedical research carried out in Alicante, as a result of the association between research groups and researchers, including in the field of Primary Care, of the entities that make up the Institute: Alicante Health Department - General Hospital, through the participation of the Department of Universal Health and Public Health, University of Alicante (UA) and Miguel Hernández University (UMH).

This project has been funded by the Department of Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society of the Generalitat Valenciana in the call for competitive concurrence PROMETEO to Research Groups of Excellence. The experience of the Principal Investigators (PIs), here the Professor of Languages and Computer Systems of the University of Alicante Juan Carlos Trujillo Mondéjar co-led by the Professor of Health Psychology Rosario Ferrer Cascales, and the applicant Research Group, as well as the quality of the Research Project are valued.
